Boston is MIT. SATP’s architecture draft lists Thomas Hardjono there; Rafael Belchior’s Fulbright year sat at MIT Connection Science and the Media Lab. Hardjono, Tobin South, Alex Pentland and others published ‘Authenticated Delegation and Authorized AI Agents’ (arXiv 2501.09674, 16 January 2025) and the ICML 2025 position ‘AI Agents Need Authenticated Delegation’: an agent that pays must carry an OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect delegated credential, not a key in a prompt. Separately, the Schwarzman College of Computing runs SERC — Social and Ethical Responsibilities of Computing — a teaching, research and engagement programme led by associate deans Nikos Trichakis and Brian Hedden. SERC publishes open-access case studies, runs a Scholars programme, and hosted the 30 April 2026 Ethics of Computing Research Symposium (keynote: Jon Kleinberg, Cornell). The Algorithmic Justice League originated at the Media Lab. None of this is a Quant Boston office or a Quant–MIT ethics joint venture. It is why the city sits on the globe next to SATP.
